Mrs. Stewart and daughter, of Kalamazoo, are this week the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dean. Winter term of school in school district No. 3 which began last week Monday, Nov. llt.h, is tauglit by Florence Briggs, of Saline. Mr. Warner, of tbis township, is teaching the winter term in the Roberts district. Average temperatura of October '95, 43i degrees. Mr. Ilichenham is still engaged in sawing out lumber in Mr. George Reed's woods. Mr. Frank White teaches the winter term of school in the Crittenden dis trict. The teacher in the Sutherland district at present is May Cady. Farmers are not through husking corn yet and cold flngers will soon be the order of the day. It is easier to handle velvets and laces by a warm stove.
