Decided Against The Commissioners

Makshalltown, Ia., Nov. 81. - A decisión of more than ordinary signiflcance was rendered by Judge Hindinan in the district court here. It sustains the injunotion restraining the Iowa soldiers' home management from withholding a part of the pension of inmates for the support oL the institution, and taxos oost of the suit to the commandant and commissioners. It is held, however, that pensions may be retained as a trust fund for a soldier on vrithdrawal from the institution. The commissioners will appeal to the supreme court.
