To say that Mack & Co. 's four stores of sixteen floors were crowded last Sat■urday would be using mild languago. It was one continual rush from early morning until late at nigbt to see wfao oud get waited on first, and, notwithstadng the faot that about sixty salespeople were employed, many went away unable to purchase on account of the crowds. "The Store" was beautifully decorated with chrysantheinums, palnis and myrtle. The show Windows were iinely dressed, orowds admiring them all day. "The Store" is now doing a large, constantly increasing business. Those who failed to attend this great opening sale misaed seeing the greatest display of goods and the largest crowd ever witnessed in any store in Washtenaw county.
