The Ladies' Aid Society of St. Andrew's cburch is making elabórate preparations for a "Festival of Holidays" to be giveu in Harris hall Dec. 6, 7, 9 and 10. You are invited to attend, and if you will come you will be sure to find sornetbing pretty and nseful at a moderate price, for a Christmas present. Harris hall will be beautifully decorated. Seven booths will be erected aud eacb booth will represent a different holiday, the days represented beiug Thauksgiving, Cbristmas, New Years, Easter, St. Valentine's, Fourth of July aud Labor Day. Eacb booth will offer for sale articles appropriate to the day ie represeuts. At St. Valentine's Day booth visitors will find valentinos ready for f bom, besides many useful and dainty articles for sale, heart sbaped photographs, frames, glove, handkerchief and necktie boxes, lamp screens and various other things. The Easter booth will have flowers, lamp shades, etc. Labor Day booth wllhave practical artioles for sale. IndependenceDay booth will be draped in our natonal oolors and will offer goods and designs snitable to that day. The Christmas booth will have many pretty articles appropriate for holiday gifts, and so on, with the others.
