L. Hulbert and daughter, Alice, spent Friday last at Tecumseh. C. A. Bullard called at Mr. Allen Clinton's Friday last. Mr. A. thinks of taking a trip to Mobile. Ala., with Mr. Bullard, who expects to stait Dec. 6th. Mr. and Mrs. James Christie, of Detroit, are spending a few days of their honeymoon at the bride's uncle's, George Pardee. The M. E. church society held a social at the home of W. G. Mount on Thursday last. A pleasant time is reported. Miss Lucy Biirch commenced her winter term of school in the Palnier district Monday last as did also Chas. Leason in the Craft district. Miss Nellie Cavanaugh, who is teaching in Sylvan, spent Sunday with her mother, Mrs. Mary Cavanaugh, oí North Sharon. Mrs. P. B. Millen,of Wolff Lake,and Mis. Frank Wheeler, of Adrián, are visiting the former's daughter, Mrs. Chas. Bullard, in South Sharon. Eev. Scott, a pastor of the M. E. church here years ago. is visiting at the home of Wm. Bower.
