Miss Mary Burnett, wbo is visiting in Lansing, is expected Lome this week. Mr. and Mrs. E R. Field will spend Thanksgiving in Pontiac with their daughter, Mrs. George Safford. F. M. Lutnbard and daughter, Lillian, played at Howell, Friday eveniug, November 22. The dance at the Clifton House Friday night was a failure. Only three couples were present. Miss Ida Henry went to Bancroft Monday niglit to take care of her nephew, Harry Henry, who is very 111. "Sweet Briar," or "The Flower Girl of New York," will be played by the Good Teccplars at the Lake House, Dec. 14. Every one come. Miss Nellie Willson spent Thanksgiving with Chelsea friends. There was a donation for the beneflt of Rev. Hicks last Tuesday evening at the M. E. church of this place. Mr. and Mrs. Eli M. Field, of Green Oak, spent Sunday with E. R. Field and family. Ernest C.' Fulton went to Highland Center Saturday to visit friends. Charlie Knight will spend a week or so with friends in Dimondale and Bancroft. Wirt Whitlock, of Newport, Mich., will return home this week. He bas been visiting his mother and family, of Hamburg and Webster. George Letrjon is still very low. His daughter, Mattie Pratt, of Lansing, is here attending him. Clarence Pratt of Lansing, will come Wednesday.
