Defrauded The County

KoscOMMON, Jlich., Deo. 12.- The people oí the township and county were amazed when it was learned that exTreasurer B. C. Huntley, ex-Highway Commissioner N. T. McDonald and Alexander Rübinson, ex-clerk, were under arrest for defrauding the county of large Bunas of ruoney and that ex-Supervisor Williani Finney was a fugitive from justice. ïhe raen, while in officu, issue d bogus township orders on the highway commissioner and made thetn payable to themselves, soattering the orders all over the country. The arnouut of the fraudulent transactions will reach $50,000. The fraud was made possible by burning the school house in which the original orders and stub books were kept.
