Washington, Beo. 10.- The houso Wednesday pnsaed unanimously a bilí authorizing the president to appoint a Venezuelan commission and approprlating $100,0 '0 for expenses. The senate did uot tako up the Venezuelan dispute directiy but Hill offered a re.solution to ropeal the disabilities on Confedérate soldiers and Chandler and other senators olïered resolutions to provide for the nationaJ deíenso. No action was taken on fchem. The senate passed a resolution directing its eleetions cornmittee to investígate the efïorts oL the corparations to control the elections of congressnien and also to control legislation. The oommittee is directed to report a bilí to suppress such practiees.
