Mr. Titus Hutzel of Ann Arbor, was in town on business Monday. Miss Hattie Rose, who has been in Jaokson of the past month, ia visiting her paren ts. Mrs. Johnson, of Franklin, visited friends on Saturday. The M. E. chnrch will have Christmas exercises next Sunday evening. Miss Orrell Grigsby, teacher of the seoond primary, will spend her vacation at her home in Allegan, Mioh. Two sleigh loads of young people went to Napoleon last Friday, to attend the Epworth League convention. The exercises given by the pupils of the first primary and ward schools last Friday afternoon were well attended and very good. The public meeting of the Alpha Sigma was held in the ohapel, Wednesday evening. The pupils who took part did nicely ; the discussions were ably discussed, and the party was enjoyed by all. The program was a complete success. The money taken in goes toward the library fund. The fair given by the W. R. C. at their rooms last Friday and Saturday, Deo. 13 and 14, was a 3uocess. The proceeds are to be devoted to oharitable objects.
