George L. Mount, of Sprinprport, and bis sister, Mrs. Hannah Bishop, of Jackson, visited at E. Rowe's ou Monday evening, but Mrs. Bishop is still here. Miss Nettie L. Rowe was married to William Wolff, of Manchester, on Wednesday evening, Dec. 18th, 1895, a the home of her pareDts, Mr. and MrsEdmund Rowe. We all join in extending onr best wisheá to Mr. and Mrs. Wo ff. Mr. and Mrs. Dnsto D. Morrice, of Morrice, are visiting Mrs. Morrice's grandparents, Morey A. Pierco at Oak Grove. Chas. A. Bullard returned from Mobilp, Ala., Monday last, reporting a pleasant journey. Mr. Walker and Mr. Honk stayed to spend the winter. Mr. and Mrs. Duston Morrioe, Mrs. Edward M. Pierce and son Vornon, apent Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. Peter Mulvaney at Mareago, Calhouu onntv. . The third sooial of the M. E. church will be held at the home of Randolph Fellows. Leste? Fellows, of Clinton, visited bis parents over Sunday. J. J. Walter and faniily si ent Stinday at Norvell. Misses Bertha and Minnie Uphause oalled on their young frieuds in West Sharon last week. Mrs. Ella' M. Pierce has closed her school for the holiday vacatiou. The young people gatheved recently at the home of William Trolz, Jr,. and ■pent the eveniug in dancing. George Hnber and Henry Steinigeweg were in Ann Avbor last week. George Smith has gone to Georgia, expecting to remove there soon. The ran ffas very welcome as a great many wells were dry. Mrs. Elisa Wisner has gone to 8t. Louis, Mioh., to spend the winter with frieuds. Liftlo Wallaoe Jones lias recurnea home from Ann Arbor, where he has been taking treatment for his face. Miss Nellie Cavanaugh is home spendins? her vacation with her mother, Mrs. Mary Cavnaugb. Mrs. Bernard Limberst has been oonfined to her bed for a few days but is better at the present writing. Little August Myers, sou of Herman Myers, is dangerously siok. Messrs Henry and Albert Trolz, Mrs. O. A. Bullard, and Mrs. B. B. Millen, ■weie in Jaokson last week. Henry J. Laudwehr and family have been in Freedom this week attendng the wedding of Mr. Landwehr's brother Ben.
