Miss Marión Talbot was elected president of the Association of Collegiate altmiua?, at its recent annual meeting in Cleveland. Miss Talbot is now associate professor of sauitary science at Chicago nniversity, and dean of thevomen's departnriit, as succossor to Mrs. Alice Freeruan Palmer. The other offlcérs of the A. C. A. elected at Cleveland are : Vice presidente, Miss Alia VV. Foster, Miss A. A. Cntler, Miss L. M. Salmón, Miss M. W. Shinn, Miss K. H. Claghorn and Mrs. Jane Bancrof t Robinson ; ecretary, Mrs. Annie Hovee Barnes; treasurer, Mrs. Mary Roberts Smith.
