Professors Not In Harmony

Chicago, Dec. 25.- President Rogers, of the Northwestern university thoroughly holds with President Cleveland in the Venezuelan dlffioulty. Professor Edwin Hurd Smith, of the law department of the university, made statements regarding tho Venezuelan affair which are very similar in their import to Professor Von Holst's, of tbe Ghicagoiiniverstty. Professor J. Scotc Clark stiid that while he did noo wish to uphold Professors Healy, Smith and Vou in their position, in all fairness it Tnust be coucaded that the majority of law professors and those who are well informad on questions of international law, agree with the three men as to the main points at issue.
