Washington, Dec. 25. - In seleeting the merobers of the Venezuela commission, it IS said, the presicfent will be guarded only by considerations of international reputation for high charaoter and intjlleütual uttainments. Among those who are mentionod as jjossible or probable members are Chief Justiee Fuller, ex-Minister to England Phelps (who is said to have been offered the place), ex Seeretary of War Lincoln, Justice Harían (of the supreme court, and ex-Seuator Edmunds. The appointments are not loo-ked for in less Uian a week.
