Torrey, of Nashville, Mich., are the guests of Mr. aud Mrs. O. Torrey. Lewis Wilson, of Cleveland, is visiting at J. H. Kingsley's. ■ Mr. August Nisle went to Detriot Satnrday to visit friends, refrurniug Tuesday. Misses Eiama Saner, Martha Layer aud Anna Arrustrong, who are employed in Jaokson, are home on a vacation. Miss Mae Aylesworth, of Wainlpers' Lake, spent Sunday with friends. Miss Mary Kurfess who is atteuding tho Normal spent Christmas with her parents. Mr. Clarence Taylor. of Duluth Minn who is attending the U. of M., is visiting relatives and friends in town. Mrs. Steinkohl of Lansing is visiting her son Fred Steinkohl of thia place. Mr. Cyrus Dickinsou of Detroit is speuding his vacation at home. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hall of Iron Creek have moved to town and are oocupying rooms in the Gwinner block. Mr. Hall bas purchsaed the laundry. Mrs. M. Wnrsterhas gone to St. Paul Minn., to visit her sister. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Johnson, of Hastings, Mich., are visiting friends in and about Manchester. Mrs. Nate Sohmid and three children went to Toledo, O., Thursday to visit her sister, Mrs. Chas. Vogel. A number of the ladies of the Maccabees went to Norvell Tuesday evening to attend the installation of officers.
