Debs Demurrer Overruled

Cixcisnati, Jan. 2.- President üugene V. Debs, of tho American Railway Union, came lindar the jurisdiction of Judge Taft, of tho United States court, during the great railroad strike of 1ín9í and the proceedings are not yet ended. Monday the demurrer of Debs and his associate directors, Hovrard and Bogers, in the oontempt proceedings was overruled and an order was issued directing JJebs and his associates to file an answer within ton days. Dcb, may yet have to endure another trial for contompt.
