SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 9.—Mrs. Davidson, charged mail with blacking Rev. Mr. Brown, was examined Tuesday. She admitted all the facts about herself telegraphed from New England except that referring to her crooked dealings and imprisonment. She told how high she stood in church circles here, and said brown had praised her publically since he paid her the $500. She accused Miss Overman and Brown of conspiring against her.
