Bitten by a Mad Dog.
METROPOLIS, Ills., Jan. 9.—Mrs. W. R. Randle was bitten by a mad dog. She noticed the dog frothing at the mouth and that it was biting her chickens, and went into the yard to get them into the coop, when the dog rushed at her, lacerating her right hand badly. After being bit by the dog she went into the house, got a gun, and killed the dog. She was taken to Paducah to have a madstone applied.
