Washington, Jan. 16. - The senate flnancial oonimíttee held a brief meeting Wednesday with Sjnator Jones of Nevada, absent, f or tho consideration of the revenue tariff bilí. A vote was taken and developed a tic ou thu bilí. Senator Jones was not paired and it became necessary to have hia vote i-khor for or against the bilí. When he returns it is understood that it will be ruported either favorably or adversely, depömling upon his vote.
