Born to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hammond, Jan. 26, a 9% Ib. girl. Mr. and Mrs. Henry M. Abbey have sold their old home where they have lived over flfty years and gone to live with their daughter, Mrs. H. S. Day. Feb. 10 will be S. P. Ballard's anniversary of his marriage fifty years. We hope the bulls and bicycleswill not put in an appearance, unless they have golden heads and horns. Sidney Saundee is building a haraess shop in Wil Jan. 5, Mrs Clifïord Sanderson died yery snddenly of paralysia of the throat. She was a member of our Ex. League, always ready to assist at the organ and also to assist in the ohoir. We shall miss her much. She leaves a husband and two ohildren. Mrs. U. P. Hammond and master Milo have both been on the sick list since their return from Flat Koek. Both contracted a cold ; the formers' reenlted in bronchitis and asthma, the latter's tonsiliis. Both are convalescent. Dr. Rootis soon to occupy Tom Gott's new house. A donation is to b given to the Bev. Mr. Caldwell, of Ann Arbor, Friday evening, Jan. 31, at the home of Mru. Lnoy A. H. Cnilds. We hope he may receive the 1 ion 's share. Everybody invited. The hotel at nWhittaker's eorners is snrely abee hive. Four families oocupy it. The Macoabees have leased the hall overhead nntil spring. Whit Kane is preparing to build a barn to fiil the place of the one burned a few months ago. The Christian Eudeavors gave an entertainment last Friday evening at the Friend's cburoh which brought in over fonr dollars. The proceeds are to help pay for a new organ. Their new pastor is liked very muoh. Wg surely hope the next time T. Dewitt Talmage is to speak in Ann ArborJ they will consult with the storm prophet, I. R. Hicks.
