Washington, Feb. 6. - In the senate Wednesday Morgan from the cominittee on foreign relations rcported the Cuban belligorency resolution, saying it met with his full approval. Cali gave notice that he would cali up the resolution as Boon as he could secure the attontion of the sánate. Quay's rosolution to recoramit the free coinage substituto for the tariff bill was laid before the senate when it was found that a prior resolution of Hansbrough directing the secrotary of agricultura to executo the law as to soed distributiou had precedence. After some discussion it was agreed that the seed resolution would not be considered until 2 o'clock, and if disposed of before then Quay's resolution would be taken up. If noc thn Quay resolution will come up Thursday. In the house Wednesday Delégate Gatron of New Mexico introduced a bill to prevent the pugiiistic festival from taking place near El Paso. The bill makes prizellghting a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for not less than flvo years - referred. The bill was again taken up and passed. The District of Columbia appropriation bill on which a flght has boen made over charitable appropriations was defeated by a vote of yeas, 135, to 143 nays. At 8 o'clock the house went into committee of the whole for consideration of the senato free coinago substitute for the bond bill.
