Hugh Jobnson, vrho owas a restanrant on N. Fourth ave., opposite the connty house sqnare, was on trial in Justioe Poud's court Monday on a I charge of disorderly oondnct nnder the I city ordinance. Johnson had trouble j witb some students and stirred up quite ' a oommotion. Jastice Pond fonnd Johnson guilty and fined him $5 and $10.75 costs. Miohael Lehman appeared for .lohnson, and af ter the findiug of the justioe he and City Attorney Kline had a little pass at arras, a genial exohange of oourtesies, that oansed qnite a ripple of excifcement. The shower oleared away, however, before the repartee took a dangerons turn, inuch to the relief of the court. Johnson appealed the case to the oironit.
