Henry W. Banfield, an old resident of Ann Arbor, died last Friday of inflammation of thejlungs, at the ripe oíd ago of 8T yeara. The deceased was born on the Isle of Guercsey. He resided later on the Isle of Jersey, in Brighton and Loudon. He was married at Brighton and in 1847 he and his wife oaine to Ann Arbor. Two sous and four daughters are living, Paris S., Willard S., and Mrs. Matilda Perrine, of this city, Mrs. Harriet RichardsoD, of Charlotte, Mrs. Bianche Chauiberlain, of Vineland, N. J., and Mrs. Emma Ricketts, of St. Paul, Minn. Funeral servioes oconrred on Monday afternoon, Rev. T. W. Youug offioiating. Interment took place at Forest Hill Cemetery.
