Will Continue To Prosecute Merritt

CHICAGO, Feb. 2'.- The executive board of the Illinois State Sportsman's aasooiation met here to listen to the report oí the association's attorney, F. S. Baird, on the well-known oase against H. Clay Merritt, of Kevvaunoe, for violation of the state gamo laws. It was unanimously deoidod to carry the case to the appellate court, where it wlll probably come up for trlal at the May term in Ottawa. The memberg of the assoclation will proseoute this oase to the end.
