An oíd engineor was getting his sight tested by a doctor who lived in a honso facing a large park. The doctor usert to say to his patients, "Look over there aud teil me what yon oan see. " When the engineer learned that his sight was to be tested, he had arranged with his sou to take his bicycle half a mile into the park and be oiling it. In due time the old man was led to the ■wiiadüw, tb doctor saying, m naval: "What do you see?" The old man, peering out, said, "1 see a young man stooping beside bis bicycle. ' ' "Do you?" said the doctor. "I don 't see any thing at all. ' ' ' ' Nonsense, " said the engineer. ' ' Why, he is oiling it. " The dootor took up a pair of fieldglasses and plainly saw the same. "Magnificent sightl" he said. The engineer is still drawine his wages.
