A Novel Concert. An opporfrunity will be aflorded musical lovers to hea the big Colunibian organ played next Friday night as they never have heard it played before. It is at that time that the Farrand & Votey organ company, of Detroit, will place their .Eolian attachment npon the organ. This recent invention biings forth every note of a composition accnrately and true. No musician canplay like itsimply because he hasn't fingere fenough. Most every cornposition, or at least many compositious in musiĆ³, cannot be wholly interpreted because of the iDability of the musician to strike every note as written. The attachment is nothing more nor a roll whioh unwinds into the organ and has a pnnctured surface, a key being struck every time the air escapes through one of these little punotures. The innovation of seeing the great organ play from a piece of paper rolling into it will be witnessed by those who attend the concert. Orla Dr. Allen will be the harmoste and "feed the organ." Mr. Allen is organist of the Jefferson AvfttiuK Presbvterian churoh in Detroit.
