White satin bands for the neck, with a large bow at the baek, are iu high favor. One way to arrange them fashionably is to pin the middle of a yard and a half length of 3 inch soft satin ribbon at the back of the tlress band, bring it aronnd to the front, where it is crossed in easy folds, and passed again around the throat to tie in a big fiaring bow with short ends at the back.
