ONONDAGA, Mich., March 5. - Thomas Síminonds, a farmsr Uring near here, went to hls barn to attend to hts horses. His favorito steed, called Charlie, proved. refractory, and he eizsd he beast by the ears, determíned to lubdue him. A fearful battle betwesn the horse and man followed, and before Simmonds could break away the hono had gsized his upper lip in his teeth and bit away lip, mustache and all. Doctors say that Simmonds will probably lire, bat will be disñgured for life.
