William SimoDs and Burt Robinson arejiow in jail charged with corispiraoy to erobezzle a letter addressed to Miss Anna M. Glasford. Rnbinson called at tbe general delivery window of the postoffice Taesday for mail for Miss Qlasiord and was given au official notice addresced to her that there was a registerd letter for her. Of this ahe failed r,o hear. Wednesday afternoon Simons presented the nutice indorsed to have the letter delivered to him, the eudoraement being sigoed Anna M. 'Glasford, as afterwards turned oat in Robinson's handwriting. Simons received the letter and claims to have delivered it to Robinson, who openeï it and appropriated the contente, which was an order for a ticket to Cygnet, Ohio. Shorfcly a'terwards.Miss Glasford called at the office and was asked if she got her letter. She had heard notbing of it and did uot know Simons. Within ten minutes afterwarip, Simons was arrested by Deputy U. S. Marshal M C.Pete so i.while still in the company of Robinson, and half an hour later on a fuller developnaent of tfie facts Robinsou was taken into castody.itThey weiearrainged last night bafore U. S. District Coort Commisioner Zina P. King and their exainination set for April 7.
