The case of Chas. Krneger vs Chas. Vogel was taken up Mondny afternoon and was on trial all day Tuesday. The plaintiff asked dainages, claiming that Vogel nsed f orce in an endeavor to colleot a bilí írom him. Vogel claimed that Krneger carne afc hiña with a i knife. The jury vidently believed i Krneger.'s 'story for itjbrougbt in a verdict of $60. 58 damages for the ' fendant. The breach of proraise case of Mary Wagner vs.. Laurence Kittle. followed. Miss AVagnor olaimed ihat Kittle promised to marry her several times sinco 1889, but that he had a ohange of lieart iu 1894 andrefnsed to marry her. The jury yesterday , dered a verdict giving $1,000 damagea to the plaiutiff.
