Making A Test Case

Maroh 19. - The St. Asaphs race track manager Wednesday mado a, test oase on the recent Maupín anti-track law pas3ed by the Virginia legislature. ïhe track was reopened and bets made on the St. Louis and New Orleans races, the money being placed with WheeliDg, W. Va., pool rooms, the St. Asaphs people charging a commission of 1Ü cents per bet. Arrests will be made later and the matter taken to the courts.
