SkdALIA, Mo., Maroh 19.- Several noted divines were present Wedne8day at the opening session here of tho twenty-eighth annual conference of the St. Louis Methodist Episcopal churoh. Many topics of interest will be discussed. Amoug thosa who are present and will take an activa part in the proceedings arp Bishop Daniel A. Goodsell of Sun Francisco; Rot. Dr. Manley S. Hard, Philadelphia, and Dr. J. C. Hartzell, Cincinnati. Nearly 300 delegates Are in attendance. Routine business consumed the opening session.
