St. Louis, March 19. - John Jones, who is wanted by Governor Altgeld of Illinois for kicking Mrs. Susan Mendenhall to death while town marshal at Anna, Hls., last August; has been arrested In St. Louis. Jones gave nis name as George Kayburn and said he carne to St. Louis ton days ago with hls little daughter, who lires with him. Mrs. Jones claims thafc her huiband ciune to the city ior the express purposs of killing her, and it wa at her instlgation that ho was arrested.
