A cnrious form of liie insurance is springing up in French roauafacturing towns under the name of La Fotirmi (theant). The peculiarity is that the longer a man lives the less he becomes entitled to. The payment of $1 a month assnres the payment of $1,000 to the heirs of a man dying bef ore the age of 88, the payment diminishing proportionately to $510 at 51. The idea seema to be that if a man dies yoong his children are likley to be in -want, trat that when he is 50 they will be able to earn their living.
