Chicago, Maroh 26.- At a meeting oL the general offioors of the National Woinau's Christian Tumperance Union it was decided not to hold tho next national convention Ín San Francisco, although that city had been previously chosen. Araong the reasons for the chance were the request of the National Suilrage associalion, in view of iDsown active operations on the Paciflo coást this yeur; the belief that holding the next convention in or near the staoe of Kansas would better conserve temperance intorests, and the refusal of thu railroads to make such concessions as were hoped for.
