The Easter services at St. Andrew"s church on Snnday were very bright and beautifnl. The ohancel was haudsomely deoorated with Easter and calla lilies, palma and other pottert plants, the altar, readiug desk and pulpit were adorned with handsome new drapery. The ïnusic by the choir of 36 voioes under the direction of R. H. Kempf, organist arid cboirmaster was rendered in fine style, the offertory solos in "I know that my Redeemer liveth" by Mr. Povey and Gerald Brnwn at the 30:30 service beiug particularly admired. The earlv servioe at 7:30 a. m. was well attended. At the seooud servioe at 10:30 a. m., so mauy carne that nearly 200 people were unable to get iuside the cbnrch. j The Baster collection amounted to $138.75. In the afternoon at 4 o'clock, the cbildren of the Sunday sohool had their Easter servioes and the cburcb was again well filled. The self demal missionary offerings of the children weré taken up and amonnted to over $40.
