Washtenaw County Fair

A meeting of the board of managers of the Washtenaw Oounty Agricnltural and Horticultural Society was held at the conrt house on Thursday afternoon of last week. The dates for the fall fair were flxed for September 22, 28, 24 and 25. A oommittee was appointed to raise the necessary money to put the track in proper ehape for racing purposes. A resolution was also passed which will bring joy to the hearts of the members of the W. C. T. U., and that is that no intoxicating liquors shall be sold on the fair grounds during the fair. The following committees were also appninted: By-laws and Rules - J.F. Spafford, Geo. E. Sperry, John Keppler. Transportation - B. F. Watts Business- T. D. Kearney and Wm. Campbell. Printing and Advertising - Eugene Helber, Moses Seabolt, J. D. Ryan. Pedigrees- H. P. Finley, B. D. Kelley, W. E. Boylan, J. F. Lawrence. Auditing- T. D. Kearney, B. F. Watts, J. W.Nanry. Premiums- H. P. Finley. W. P. Boyden, A. Wood. Pólice, I - Nathan Sutton, Chas. Rose.
