Topeka, Kan., April 9.- Resulta of tho the elections in. Kansas citics oL the second class Tuesday are considerably mixed as to political lines. In many places the chieL issuo was the drug store or other saloons, comraonly palled "joints," and the voto in neariy overy case was against continued toloratiou of illegal liquor selling. Women voto for municipal olïi sera in thia state, and in many towns took a very active interest in the contest. At Cimarrón the women were victorious, Mrs. C. A. Curtís being elected mayor by a sinali majority ovor Ur. Lawrence. The eleciion board was composed wholly of wouien, who were out in full forco. Airs. Curtís, is over 60 years of age. Hhe is a woman of bod business abiüty, and is quite woalthy.
