Improving Their Property
Frederick Schmid aud Ambrose Kearney are making notable iniprovements to their property at 31 and 33 S. Main street. Mr. Schmid is extending nis store back to the alley 54 feet, and making it three stories high. AVlien h'nished the store will be 125 feet deep. New flooring, new shelving and a new front will alsobe put in. The second story will be fitted up and used as a tinshop, while the third floor will be used for storing surplus stock. Mr. Kearney's addition to bis store will also be รถ-i feet deep, but only two stories high. lts present occupant, John Goetz, jr., will occupy the whole of the ground Hoor for bis business and may also utilise the second Hoor. Both these addilions are laudable improvements, and the gentlemen are to be highly commended for their public spirit and enterprise.
