Lincoln, Neb., April 23.- The f roe sllver Deruocrats of ISebraska met in state convention Wednesday afternoou to elect four delegates at large to the national convention at Chicago, July ?. Every county is represented, with 110 opposition from the other faction of the party, which holds lts convention in Lincoln one week heneo. Many oí the delegations had been selected by county niass conventions. This ■was true in all cases where the anti-silver element had no control of the couuty organizations. W. J. Bryan and C. J. Smyth aro slated for two of the delegates at large. ïhere will be no visible opposition to them. In addition the district delegates will present the names of two congressional delegates from each congressional district, so that the convention in effect will choose the entire sixteen delegates. Ex-Governor Boyd of Omaha was urged to accept a placo on the state dolegatton, but has positively declined to have hls name go before the convention. He is not even in attendance. Boyd is a oiind money man, but opposed to the dministration. A niassmeeting was wld at lunke Wednesday evening at which Governor William J. Stone of Missouri spoke.
