Moktgomery, Ala., April 23.- The Democratie state couvention Wednesday adopted a platform for the free coinage of silver at 16 to 1 and instructed the delogatos to Chicago to vote as a unit on that and all other questions. President Cleveland was indorsed on everything except finance.
