Fruit trees are all in bloom. Dame Nature is wearing her most beautiful smile and all nature seems to be rejoicing over our early spring. Milan High School nino piayed with the Petersburg nine at Milan, Saturday. Soore, 28 to 2 in favor of Milan. The program for the Washtenaw Baptist Assooiation meeting, to be held in Milan this week, is an interesting one. Miss Rheinfrank spent Sunday with tier parents at Saline. Mrs. S. Haok is having a fine drive well put down in her yard, on E. Mains st. Mrs. James Gauntlett is entertaining juests from out of town. Mrs. O. A. Kelly and daughter returned from Ann Arbor Tuesday morning. Miss Lelia is convalescent after a, severe siok spell, and will take a vaiation of a few days bef ore returning to school. House oleaning and cold meals are in order in progressive Milan. Arbor Day was observed by a large number of the Milaaese. Rev. Eugene Tager, of Saline, came 3own on his wheel Tuesday and called on several of his Milan friends, Miss G-race Sraith has retnrned from her Toledo viait. Rev. J. G. Halaplain, an Arroenian, gave talks at the M. E. ohuroh Sunday morning and evening. Mrs. Wm. Wooloott is visiting friends at Maple Grove. Miss Carrie Hanlon had the index flnger of her left hand arnputated last week. Miss Ora Youngs was the victim of a surprise party one night a short time ago. Dr. Richardson, of Dundee, has been doing Milan in behalf of his headaohe powders. Miss Alma Sill and Miss Eva Smith have returned from their Ypsilanti trip. Eugene Reynolds is having soine street walks put down in front of his residenoe, on First st. Mr. Derning is having an addition built on his house on Fuller st. The O. E. S. had a pleasant entertainment at the Masonic temple last Friday evening. The Marblo Park Giove cemetery begins to show signs of drives, walks, and a number of very pretty lots. The Presbyterian ladies will meet with Mrs. Tripp, Tuesday afternoon.
