Prof. Austin George's Successor

The state board of education at a meeting held hl Lansing last Friday unanimously selected Supt. Charles O. Boyt, of the Lansing schools, as assistant to the department of pedagogy and director of the trainiDg school at the state normal school. He will succeed Prof. George. Sopt. Hoyt has been at the head of the schools at Wyandotte, Grass Lake, Jaokson and Lansng. and is at present the president of the State Teachers' Association.
