The jury trials in the circuit court have all been finished and the jury has been discharged. The oases that have been tried this week are given below. The jury in the Carpenter will oase, which oocupied the attention of the circuit court for three days last week, brought in a verdict sustaining tbewill. Michael Klotz, who was bound over in the sum of $500 to appear at the flrst day of court failed to do so. It was found that he was in Wyandotte and an officer fetched him from there on a bench warrant. He is charged with obtaining goods under false pretences. A divorce was granted to Mrs. Mary P. Paltri dge from G-eorge H. Paltridge on Monday evening, he entering no opposition to her plea of oruelty. Tuesday morning Emma Knapp was granted a divorce from Warren Knapp. The case of the People vs. Eli was discontimied on the defendant paying the justice costs, the case being an appeal from Justice Pond's court. In tbe case of Wm. Bell vs. Caleb Eaton, an appeal from Justice Childs' court, Ypsilauti, the jury Wednesday evening brought in a verdict in favor of the plaintiff, awarding him $275, nearly the en tire claim. Yesterday the circuit court was occupied with the case of Martha Brown vs. Prnston W. Ross and William Judson. Mr. Ross as deputy shei-iff levied on a piano to satisfy a claim against Mrs. Brown's husband. Henee the suit.
