A Bogus Organizer

Last October a colored man named Edward M. Rector caiue to Ypsilanti aud iustituted Eureka Lodgo, K. of P. He also sold the parapherualia iucident to a lorlge of K. of P. aud at the saaie time collected 1100 from tbe new raembers, telling them that their charter would come to them forthwith. Bufc the charter did not come aud last week the deputy graud chaucellor, S. D. Currie, inforrued the lodge tbat it was working in a clandestina manner and that Rector was a fraud. There were a number of highly exasperated colored men in Ypsilanti and i warrant was sworn out for Rector 's arrest. Rector was arrested in Detroit aud bronght to Ypsilauti Tnesday by Depntv Sheriff Warner. The prosecuting attorney has set his esaminatiou for nest Mocday,
