From the weekly report of the Michgan section of the climate and erop ervice dated May 19, we have made he following exceptions regarding the tate of the crops and the weatber in Vashtenaw county : Bridgewater- I. W. Kirkwood : Vheat looking good. Corn mostly planted and some is up. Oats looking good. Hay very good. Fruit trees are well loaded. Saline - John Gillen : Corn nearly all lanted and coming up. Wheat doing ieely. Plenty of rain. Saline - John Lutz: The rain of Thnrsday was very beneficial to all 'rowing crops. Corn planting about ialf done, and some is up and looking veil. Ypsilanti - J. C. Bemiss: Wheat is growing finely. Oats doing well. Corn plautiug about flnished. At 6:30 p. m., of tbe 14th, a cyclone passed tlirough this town froni s. w. to n. e., doing. muoh damage to barns, sheds, soruebouses, orchards, trees, feiices, rye and wbeat, to the amount of tbousands of dollars to farmers in Ypsilanti and Augusta townships; this cyclone was about four miles south of the one of April 2, 3 893. Rainfall during the week 0.61.
