The M. E. ladies held their tea social at the Methodist parsonage. There was a large attendance. Webb Blackmer is on the sick list. The material for the Sill & Menta blonk is being drawn on the ground ready for work. J. Sprague, of Ann Arbor, was the guest of nis daughter, Mrs. G. R. Williams. Monday. Wni. Woolcott has returned from his Jetroit sojourn. Mrs. Chas. Sill is ill wit-h the grip. Drs. Nancrede and Johnson, of Anu Arbor, weie in Milan, Saturday, ta per:orm a surgical operatiou on B. Braun. They were assisted by Dr. Messio. The patiënt is doing finely. Mrs. Hinkley visited friends in Tecnmseh Wednesday. Eev. H. F. Snier and rife visited Ypsilanti, Tuesday. W. E. Spragae, of Jaokson, was the guest of Attorney and Mrs. Gr. R. Williams, Wednesday. Mrs. Eugene Wisdom and family, of Shepard, were the guests of Mrs. W. 's parents Sunday. Dr. aud Mrs. Pyle entertained gnests from Ann Arbór over Snnday. Rev. J. P. Hutohinson was so very ill Monday at Dr. Messio's that he was unable to return to nis home in Anu Arbor. Rev. Mr. Colwell, of Ann Aibor, visited Milan friends Monday. Mrs. Arba Andrew and danghter are visiting friends in "Willis this week. Mrs. Chas, and Cecil Gauntlett will attend the May Festival at Ann Arbor, Thursday. . Mr. Doersam, of Ypsilanti, visited Milan frinds Wednesday. F. Edvards ia at home from the Agrioultural College for a few days' vacation. Mrs. E. Leonard is at home from her Ann Arbor sojourn. J. MoKay and family will move to Detroit in a few days. C. Fatterson has been improving his property with paint and paper.
