The Johannesburg Reformers

Pretoria, May 21. - The sentences of the leaders of the Johannesburg reformers it was announced Wednesday, will stand over for the present, and in the meanwhile, sentences of flftcen years' imprisonment have been substituted for the sentences of death imposed upon Colonel Rhodes, John Hays Hammond, Lionel Phillips and George Farrar. Ñine others of the prisoners were discharged, eighteen were sentenced to flve months' imprisonment and twenty-two were sentenced to three months' Imprisonment.
