Pittsbitrg, May 21.- The city auditorg have completed thcir examination of the accounts of the city attorney's office, and have found that the aniount of money handled by Major W. C. Moreland and W. B. House, his assistent, during tho years ltfSá to 1S95, for whieh their accounts show no credits, is 425,000. ïhe books were kept badly and thercfore the figures only show what the auditors were able to make out of them. The actual shortage may be much more or less th;vn the figures given.
