Watertown', N. Y., May 21. - Firu Tuesday destroyed fcwo housesin Gouverneur, St. Lawrence county, one owned by William Fairan and the ocher by Mr, Philiips. Marshall Cheiismau, ag.id 55, whilo attempring to remove tho furniture froiu one of tho burning houses, was oveccome by smoke and burned to death.
