Memorial Day Exercises
Tomorrow ia Memorial Day aud the veterans of Weluh Post, No. 137, G. A. R. , have made great prepaiatious to properly celébrate the day. In the morning the graves of deceased soldiers in St. Thomas' ceraetery will be deoorated by a detail appointed for the purpose. Ou its return to the post room the whole post will march to Forest Hill cemetery where the regalar Memorial Day services will be held at the grave of Col. Weloh, after which a salute will be fired and the graves of soldiers buried in that cemetery decórate?,. In the vfteruoon a procession will be formed in which will be Welch Post, G-. A. R , J. T. Jacobs Camp, S. of V., the common counnil and others, escorted by the Aun Arbor Light Infantry, which will go to the Fifth ward cemetery, where the usual exeroises will be observed at the soldiers' monument and the graves decorated. The line of march will be from the court house on Huron st., north on JFourth ave. to Detroit st., east on Detroit st. to the cemetery. After the exeroises the procession will return to the post room and disband. In the evening at 7 :30 o'clock the followiug program wi-11 be given in University Hall : Columbiau Organ Prof . A. A.
